Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 8:00pm and Sunday from 10:00am to 7:00pm. This is a full-time position based within the full-service veterinary hospital.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Hospital Veterinarian will provide patient care through physical examinations, diagnosis, treatment, and preventive medicine tailored to each patient’s signalment, lifestyle, and environment. The role follows a problem-based medical approach, developing complete problem lists, differential diagnoses, diagnostic plans, and treatment strategies based on interpretation of results. Responsibilities include documenting all findings and client communications thoroughly in the medical record, performing routine and complex surgical procedures such as spays, neuters, abdominal exploratory surgeries, and mass removals, as well as routine and complex dental procedures including full dental examinations, evaluation of dental radiographs, extractions, and oral surgical procedures. The veterinarian will develop treatment plans for hospitalized patients, participate in doctor rounds at the beginning and end of shifts, and collaborate with referral hospitals to ensure continuity of care. A DVM degree from an AVMA-accredited school, active state licensure, DEA registration, and controlled substance licensure where applicable are required. Candidates must be comfortable performing anesthesia and routine surgeries and demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Practice Details
This full-service hospital is equipped with ultrasound, heated hydraulic surgery tables, digital diagnostic radiography, and a quality paraprofessional team trained to expand their expertise in areas such as dentistry and nutrition. Services include preventive care, vaccinations, microchipping, diagnostic testing, deworming, routine and complex surgery, comprehensive dental care, anesthesia, and hospitalization. The hospital operates within a larger network that provides supportive medical leadership, standardized operating procedures, and access to resources designed to elevate patient care and professional development.
