Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing veterinary care for dogs and cats in Pensacola, Florida. They are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The practice is open to both full-time and part-time applicants and has been providing comprehensive veterinary and urgent care to the local community since 2018.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive patient care from diagnosis through treatment, including wellness and preventive medicine, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, urgent care, dentistry, and surgical procedures such as anesthesia, spays and neuters, soft tissue surgery, mass removals, and dental surgery. The role involves developing long-term relationships with clients, clearly communicating clinical findings and treatment plans, and collaborating with the wider veterinary team to deliver high-quality care. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates will be considered.

Practice Details
The hospital provides wellness and preventive care, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, surgical procedures, dentistry, and same-day urgent care services. The practice has a 4.6-star Google rating and has been recognized as a Nextdoor Favorite Veterinarian and a 2023 Best Local Business. Clinicians have access to mentorship, internal specialty consultations, and professional development resources supporting leadership and specialized clinical interests. Opening hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM, with the hospital closed on Sundays.

Team
The hospital has four DVMs and a great tenured support team. The environment emphasizes collaboration and professional growth, with veterinarians working alongside a supportive paraprofessional team and encouraged to share clinical ideas.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
