Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing full-service veterinary care and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their growing team. This practice focuses on delivering high-quality medicine to companion animals, including exotics, within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The role offers flexibility for either full-time or part-time schedules.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will examine and treat companion animals to diagnose and manage a range of conditions, while delivering high-quality, compassionate care. Responsibilities include operating diagnostic equipment, collecting and interpreting diagnostic samples, advising pet owners on preventative care and treatment options, performing surgery, prescribing medication, and providing end-of-life care guidance. The role also involves maintaining accurate medical records, ensuring compliance with veterinary standards, and working closely with the team to deliver excellent patient outcomes. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship available.

It is equipped with modern diagnostic equipment to support imaging and clinical decision-making. Services offered include pet wellness, dentistry, surgery including spays, neuters, soft tissue procedures and gastrotomy, diagnostics, and exotic pet care. The practice promotes a collaborative, team-first culture with strong technician support, flexible scheduling, and no on-call or after-hours requirements.
Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs and a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
