Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. The practice provides comprehensive veterinary care in Pensacola, Florida and is dedicated to nurturing the human-animal bond through compassionate medicine, preventative care, and strong client relationships. The hospital offers a supportive environment where veterinarians can manage a diverse and rewarding caseload while working alongside an experienced team.

Working Hours / Rota
This position offers either full-time or part-time opportunities. The hospital operates Monday through Saturday from 7:30am to 5:00pm and is closed on Sundays. The practice also offers an after-hours urgent care service with walk-in hours seven days a week.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a varied caseload including examinations, diagnostics, and surgical procedures within a full-service medical environment. The role includes collaborating with colleagues on complex cases and contributing to high-quality patient care through strong communication with clients. The hospital provides exposure to advanced case management through specialty and orthopedic referral services, offering opportunities for professional development. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

The practice offers services including wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, surgical procedures, and urgent care. The hospital also provides specialty and orthopedic referral appointments and maintains an after-hours urgent care service to support continuous patient care. The practice focuses on maintaining a high standard of medicine while fostering a supportive environment for continued professional growth.

Team
The hospital team consists of 9 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative and experienced working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
