Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a general practice hospital hiring for a Full or Part-Time Associate Veterinarian. They have been serving the community of Cooper City and Davie, Florida, for 30 years and are looking to expand their team to support a growing and loyal client base. The hospital sees a diverse range of species including cats, dogs, pocket pets, rabbits, and reptiles.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of general practice responsibilities, including routine wellness care, surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with doctor hours available for discussion.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, remaining closed on Sundays. It is a beautiful, spacious GP hospital featuring six exam rooms, a comfort room, a dedicated dental suite, surgical suite, and an isolation ward. The clinic is equipped with advanced tools including, but not limited to, a tonopen, ultrasound, dental X-rays, and digital X-ray equipment. As an AAHA-certified hospital, it offers a full range of GP services alongside orthopedic surgery and behavior counseling. Additional services include boarding and grooming.

Team
The team consists of 3 DVMs supported by 11 staff members, maintaining a minimum 2:1 technician-to-doctor ratio. The veterinarians, technicians, and pet-friendly support staff are trained to the highest standards, fostering a collaborative and professional working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
