Introduction
Our client is a hospital looking to hire an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. This full-service pet hospital has been caring for companion animals for more than 30 years, providing high-quality veterinary care for cats and dogs. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established practice with a strong reputation for compassionate medicine and clinical excellence.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of GP responsibilities, managing a diverse caseload that includes wellness care, urgent care, surgery, dentistry, in-house diagnostics, and community outreach programs. You will be responsible for consultations, diagnostics, treatment planning, surgery, dentistry, client education, and preventative care while working collaboratively with the wider veterinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. The practice offers flexible scheduling with no on-call duties and no weekend work, promoting an excellent work-life balance. The position is suited to an experienced veterinarian with at least one year of experience in veterinary practice, strong diagnostic and clinical skills, and excellent surgical and dental abilities.
Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:30pm and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The practice provides the full scope of GP services alongside Urgent Care, allowing clinicians to manage a varied and rewarding companion animal caseload. The hospital is equipped with, but not limited to, an In-House Laboratory, Ultrasound, Surgical Lasers, Cold Laser, Tonovet, and Bair Hugger equipment. Additional facilities include an In-House Pharmacy, Digital Radiology, and Digital Dental Radiology, providing the resources needed to confidently diagnose and treat a wide range of medical and surgical conditions. The practice follows Fear Free handling techniques and holds AVMA and ISVMA certification, reflecting its commitment to maintaining high clinical standards and providing a positive experience for both patients and clients.

You will be joining a team of 4 DVMs, supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. The hospital is led by a supportive leadership team focused on the success and well-being of its associates, fostering a collaborative culture built on teamwork, communication, and professional growth. Together, the team works seamlessly to deliver exceptional patient care and client service while maintaining a positive and supportive workplace environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
