Our client is a small animal veterinary hospital that is currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its established and compassionate team. The practice provides comprehensive veterinary care exclusively to cats and dogs and has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, patient-focused medicine. This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian who values strong client relationships, clinical autonomy, and the ability to practice evidence-based medicine within a supportive environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with the practice closed on Sundays. The position is open to both full-time and part-time veterinarians, and the team is happy to discuss scheduling options to suit individual preferences. This schedule offers structure while still allowing flexibility for work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
In this role, the Associate Veterinarian will connect closely with clients and their pets, building trusted, long-term relationships and acting as a partner in each pet’s lifelong health. From diagnosis through treatment, the veterinarian will lead patient care with the autonomy to uphold the highest medical standards. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating medical conditions, managing a varied caseload, performing surgical procedures, and clearly communicating findings and treatment plans so clients can make informed decisions. This position is open to both new graduates and experienced veterinarians, with strong mentorship and support available from an established team of DVMs to help refine clinical skills and pursue excellence in evidence-based medicine.

The hospital is well equipped with modern diagnostic and treatment tools, including X-ray technology and additional advanced equipment to support high-quality veterinary care. Since 1984, the practice has proudly served the local community and is known for treating every patient like a family member. The hospital offers a comprehensive range of services, from preventative wellness care and essential diagnostics to advanced medical treatment, complex surgical procedures, and emergency management.

Team
The Associate Veterinarian will join a team of five experienced DVMs who are collaborative, supportive, and focused on delivering the highest standard of small animal medicine. The veterinary team is supported by dedicated and skilled support staff who contribute to a positive and efficient working environment, ensuring veterinarians are well supported in providing exceptional patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
