Our client is a hospital providing care for small animal patients and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This opportunity is available on either a full-time or part-time basis and is ideal for an experienced veterinarian seeking a practice that combines advanced technology, collaborative teamwork, and a strong commitment to patient care. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care through physical examinations, disease diagnosis, treatment planning, and preventative healthcare. Responsibilities include developing diagnostic and treatment plans, interpreting diagnostic results, maintaining accurate medical records, educating clients, and collaborating closely with the veterinary team to ensure continuity of care. Clinical exposure includes wellness medicine, preventative care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostic medicine, and day hospitalization management. Surgical responsibilities include routine and advanced procedures such as spays, neuters, abdominal exploratory surgeries, and mass removals. Dental responsibilities include comprehensive oral examinations, interpretation of dental radiographs, routine dental procedures, extractions, and oral surgery. The role also includes participating in medical rounds, supporting staff education, and promoting high standards of patient care and communication. This position is intended for experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
The hospital is a full-service small animal practice equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical technology, including ultrasound in every hospital, heated hydraulic surgery tables, and digital diagnostic radiography. Services offered include routine wellness care, vaccinations, microchipping, illness and injury treatment, diagnostic imaging, flea, tick, and heartworm prevention, surgery, dentistry, and hospitalization services. The practice emphasizes preventative healthcare, comprehensive diagnostics, patient-centered treatment plans, and continuity of care. Veterinarians are supported by experienced medical leadership and a skilled paraprofessional team with expanded expertise in areas such as dentistry and nutrition. Hospital hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and closed on Wednesday and Sunday.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
