Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a long-established hospital located in Parrish, Florida, just outside of Tampa, currently seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join their collaborative team in late 2025. With over 30 years of service to the community, this 3-doctor practice is known for its commitment to high-quality care, strong mentorship, and a supportive environment led by a dedicated Medical Director and skilled hospital manager.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The hospital is closed on Sundays.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will work alongside an experienced team providing a range of services including preventive care, diagnostics, dental care, surgery, hospice and end-of-life care, and cold laser therapy. The ideal candidate will be confident in both medical and surgical practice and thrive in a team-oriented, mentorship-driven environment.
Practice Details
The hospital offers comprehensive veterinary services for dogs and cats, including vaccinations and prevention, routine exams, geriatric care, dental treatment, cold laser therapy, and hospice support. The facility is equipped with modern medical technology to ensure high standards of care, and the culture is focused on collaboration and continuous learning.
Team
The team includes 3 DVMs supported by a skilled hospital manager and a team of experienced technicians. The environment encourages collaboration, case discussions, and support for both experienced doctors and newer graduates.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
