Job Description

Introduction
Our client is an AHAA accredited small animal veterinary hospital seeking a Veterinarian to join their established, collaborative team in Parma Heights, Ohio. This full-time position focuses on delivering high-quality small animal care within a practice known for strong medical standards and a supportive team culture.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Tuesday from 8:00am to 12:00pm and 2:00pm to 6:00pm, Wednesday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Thursday from 8:00am to 7:00pm, Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, and Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm, with the practice closed on Sundays. The role is full-time, exact scheduling is flexible and open to discussion.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The veterinarian will provide comprehensive small animal medical care, including diagnostics, treatment planning, client communication, and case management. Daily responsibilities include building strong relationships with clients, leading patient care from diagnosis through treatment, collaborating closely with the veterinary and paraprofessional team, and maintaining high standards of medicine and communication in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Practice Details
The practice is AAHA accredited and equipped with modern diagnostic and treatment capabilities to support advanced care. Equipment and services include digital radiography, ultrasound imaging, advanced diagnostic testing, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, dental care, spay and neuter procedures, microchipping, dermatology services, therapeutic laser therapy, platelet-rich plasma therapy, echocardiograms, cancer screening, emergency care during regular hours, and in-house diagnostics. The practice emphasizes patient safety, medical excellence, and continued professional growth, supported by access to internal specialty consultations and medical resources across a broader professional network.

Team
The team consists of five DVMs working within a highly collaborative and communicative environment. The culture prioritizes teamwork, shared knowledge, and mutual support, allowing veterinarians to focus on delivering excellent patient care while growing their skills within an established and well-supported hospital setting.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
