Our client is a hospital hiring for a full-time Associate Veterinarian within an AAHA-accredited small animal practice. The hospital provides care for dogs and cats and is well-established within the local community, with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, compassionate medicine. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering comprehensive medical care including wellness and preventive services, diagnostics, medical management, surgery, and dentistry. The role involves managing cases from initial consultation through treatment and follow-up, building strong client relationships, and providing clear communication on diagnosis and care plans. Veterinarians are supported in utilizing modern diagnostic tools and advanced treatment options, allowing for high standards of patient care. Collaboration with a skilled support team is central to the role, contributing to a positive and efficient hospital culture. Doctor hours are structured within the hospital’s operating schedule. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship and professional development support available.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. As an AAHA-accredited facility, the practice maintains high standards across diagnostics, surgery, and patient care protocols. The hospital offers a wide range of services including wellness and preventive care, diagnostics, radiology, ultrasound, surgery, dental care, behavioral consultations, cardiology, oncology, orthopedics, pain management, and advanced therapies such as laser therapy and integrative medicine approaches. The practice emphasizes continuous improvement, access to advanced medical tools, and a culture that supports clinical autonomy and professional growth.

Team
The hospital team includes five DVMs supported by a skilled and dedicated support staff. The environment is collaborative and team-oriented, with a strong focus on communication, mentorship, and creating a positive workplace where veterinarians are supported in delivering high-quality care and developing their clinical skills.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
