Introduction
Our client is a small animal veterinary hospital that is hiring for an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital sees cats and dogs and is part of a growing network of locally owned animal hospitals across the United States, offering a collaborative clinical environment focused on high-quality patient care and professional development.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of general practice responsibilities within a supportive and mentorship-focused environment. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload while delivering high-quality patient care and client communication. The hospital offers flexible scheduling designed to support work-life balance. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian seeking unparalleled mentorship, support, and continuing education within a collaborative practice setting.
Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Equipment available includes, but is not limited to, ultrasound and digital X-ray technology. The practice also features an in-house pharmacy within a modern facility designed to support efficient and high-quality patient care. Services offered include urgent care alongside a full scope of general practice services. In addition, the hospital also provides nutritional counseling, supporting a comprehensive approach to patient wellness.
Team
The practice is staffed with three DVMs and supported by a dedicated team of veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. A high doctor-to-technician ratio allows veterinarians to focus on practicing medicine while being fully supported by experienced and skilled team members. The practice fosters a culture of collaboration, innovation, and mentorship, creating an environment where veterinary professionals can develop their skills, pursue continued education, and achieve lasting career growth.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
