Our client is a hospital providing care for dogs and cats and is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventative care for dogs and cats while managing a varied general practice caseload. Responsibilities include performing wellness and health examinations, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, carrying out routine surgeries including spays and neuters, providing client education, issuing health certificates, and delivering compassionate end-of-life care when required. The successful candidate will work closely with the hospital team to deliver exceptional patient care while continuing to develop their clinical skills. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with dedicated mentorship available for those beginning their careers.

Practice Details
This small animal hospital provides comprehensive primary care services for dogs and cats. The hospital is equipped with radiology, dental facilities, hands-free radiology capabilities, and access to outsourced ultrasound services. Services include wellness and health examinations, allergy and itchy skin relief, anaesthesia, dental care, ear checks, general surgery, routine surgeries, spays and neuters, radiology, health certificates, and euthanasia services. The hospital also benefits from a long-standing client base and is committed to delivering high-quality veterinary medicine in a supportive clinical environment. Hospital hours are Monday and Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and the hospital is closed on Sundays.

The hospital is supported by a collaborative team of 3 DVMs and a great tenured support team, including experienced technicians and customer service representatives. The team values collaboration, mentorship, continuous learning, and delivering exceptional care while fostering strong relationships with both clients and colleagues.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
