Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing care for dogs and cats and is hiring an Associate Veterinarian. This position is full-time preferred, although part-time options can be discussed for the right candidate.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of general practice responsibilities, including internal medicine, wellness and preventive care, surgery, dentistry, and more. The role offers flexibility with scheduling and doctor hours, allowing for discussions around individual preferences. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and closed on Sundays. It is well-equipped with digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, in-house laboratories, and additional modern veterinary equipment. Facilities include a dedicated surgical suite, dental suite, and in-house pharmacy. The hospital provides a full scope of GP services, including wellness care, preventative medicine, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry.

The practice is supported by a great team of support staff and promotes a collaborative working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
