Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital looking to hire an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. Treating dogs, cats, birds, and reptiles, this is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team providing high-quality veterinary care across a diverse companion animal caseload.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This role covers the full scope of GP responsibilities, providing preventative, medical, surgical, and wellness care for a variety of companion animals, including dogs, cats, birds, and reptiles. You’ll perform routine examinations, diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, develop tailored treatment plans, carry out surgical procedures, and promote preventative healthcare through client education. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining accurate medical records, collaborating closely with the veterinary team to deliver the highest standard of patient care, and building strong relationships with clients through compassionate communication. Specific working hours will be determined during the interview process. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with students and new graduates encouraged to apply and provided with dedicated mentorship.
Practice Details
The hospital provides the full scope of GP services, delivering comprehensive preventative care, routine wellness examinations, diagnostic evaluations, medical treatments, and surgical procedures for companion animals. The practice is equipped with advanced diagnostic equipment and technology including, but not limited to, a therapeutic laser, ultrasound, echocardiograms, digital radiology, dental radiology, a Tonopen, and an in-house laboratory. Facilities include hands-free radiology, an isolation ward, an intensive care unit, an in-office surgical suite, and an in-house pharmacy, supporting efficient workflow and high-quality patient care. The hospital is AAHA accredited and staffed by Fear Free Certified associates, demonstrating its commitment to maintaining high clinical standards while reducing stress for patients. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

You’ll be joining a team of 5 DVMs, supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
