Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a practice providing small animal veterinary care and is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their collaborative and community-focused team. The clinic is known for building long-standing relationships with clients and delivering high-quality, compassionate care in a supportive environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. This is a full-time position, with flexibility in scheduling and an openness to working some Saturdays as needed.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for a range of clinical duties including performing routine and advanced surgeries, interpreting lab results, developing and implementing medical protocols, and delivering preventative and diagnostic care. The role also involves educating clients and building strong relationships while contributing to team collaboration. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, offering opportunities for growth within a supportive environment.
Practice Details
This is a small animal practice offering services including wellness care and exams, vaccinations, dental care, diagnostics and imaging, spay and neuter, parasite prevention, dermatology, microchipping, and surgery. The hospital has been serving the community for over 35 years and provides state-of-the-art in-house medical diagnostics, preventive care, surgery, and radiology. The clinic fosters a collaborative and team-oriented culture, with a strong focus on client relationships, education, and maintaining high standards of care.
Team
The team consists of 3 DVMs and a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative and supportive working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
