Introduction
Our client is an ER and Specialty hospital for Cats and Dogs that is hiring an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. Uniquely blending general practice with emergency care, the hospital offers veterinarians the opportunity to work within a dynamic clinical environment that combines preventative medicine with urgent and emergency case management. This role is ideal for an experienced veterinarian seeking a varied caseload and the opportunity to practice across multiple areas of veterinary medicine within a collaborative and patient-focused setting.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload that includes wellness and preventative care, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, urgent care, and emergency medicine. This position provides the opportunity to balance routine patient care with more acute medical cases, allowing veterinarians to utilize a broad range of clinical skills while delivering comprehensive care to patients. Flexible scheduling is available, with doctor hours to be discussed. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian who enjoys variety in their caseload and is comfortable practicing within an environment that combines both primary care and emergency services.
Practice Details
The hospital provides a full scope of ER and GP services alongside Urgent Care and Orthopedics, creating a varied caseload that ranges from routine preventative care through to emergency presentations requiring immediate intervention. The practice is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technology, including but not limited to digital x-ray, dental radiography, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory equipment, supporting efficient diagnostics and timely treatment decisions. Facilities include an In-House Pharmacy, allowing for streamlined patient care and convenient access to medications when required. In addition to its medical and emergency services, the hospital also provides nutrition and diet counselling, supporting long-term patient health and preventative care initiatives. The clinic operates seven days a week from 8:00am to 5:00pm, ensuring consistent access to both general practice and urgent veterinary services.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
