Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a longstanding mixed animal hospital for Cats, Dogs, Livestock, Horses, and Exotics that is hiring a Mixed Animal Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. As one of the largest and busiest facilities in the area, the practice offers veterinarians the opportunity to work within a fast-paced and collaborative environment managing a diverse caseload across multiple species.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will be responsible for providing a full scope of general practice services across companion animals, livestock, equine, and exotic species. This opportunity offers exposure to a varied caseload including wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, medical consultations, surgery, and dentistry within a busy clinical setting. Doctor hours are to be discussed, with no weekend responsibilities required. The position is suited to an experienced veterinarian who is comfortable working across multiple species within a collaborative and well-supported environment.

Practice Details
The hospital offers a full scope of GP services alongside cold laser therapy and orthopedic surgery. The practice is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technology, including but not limited to an in-house laboratory, ultrasound, digital x-ray, and digital dental x-ray equipment, supporting comprehensive patient care and efficient workflow throughout the hospital. Facilities include over 3,700 square feet of organized indoor space featuring three exam rooms and an in-house pharmacy. In addition to veterinary services, the practice also provides Chinese medicine, acupuncture, physical therapy, herbal medicine, boarding and daycare, and pet grooming services. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm and is closed on weekends.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
