Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a full-service small animal hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. The clinic provides comprehensive care for pets, delivering preventative, medical, and surgical services within a collaborative general practice environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with Sunday closed. This is a part-time position.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Responsibilities include providing preventative care and vaccinations, performing general dentistry and soft tissue surgery, diagnosing and treating illness, and supporting chronic disease management. The role involves delivering high-quality patient care, maintaining strong client communication, and collaborating with the wider team to support a positive and efficient clinical environment.
Practice Details
The hospital is a full-service facility offering wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, puppy and kitten care, senior pet care, nutritional counseling, internal medicine, diagnostics, and surgical services. It is part of a wider network of practices, allowing collaboration across locations with integrated medical records and access to emergency and specialty care. Services also include dermatology, diagnostics, boarding and grooming, microchipping, hospice care, and surgery. The practice emphasizes personalized care and a supportive environment focused on professional growth and high-quality medicine.
Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
