Introduction
Our client is a well-established small animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its experienced and collaborative team. The practice provides comprehensive veterinary care for companion animals and offers a supportive environment suited to both new graduates and experienced veterinarians.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive clinical care across wellness and preventative medicine, dentistry, surgery, internal medicine, diagnostics, and urgent care. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating medical conditions, performing medical and surgical procedures, and working closely with the wider veterinary and support team to provide a high standard of patient care. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship and opportunities for professional growth available. Flexible full-time scheduling is offered.
Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM and Saturday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM. The practice is equipped with radiography, ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, and surgical equipment. Services include wellness care, dentistry, surgery, internal medicine, diagnostics, urgent care, end-of-life care, nutritional counseling, microchipping, pharmacy services, boarding, and grooming. The hospital has an established and loyal clientele and emphasizes providing a high standard of veterinary care within a collaborative environment.
Team
The hospital has two experienced veterinarians supported by a tenured support team. The working environment is collaborative and mentorship-focused, with an emphasis on professional development, teamwork, and maintaining a supportive and enjoyable workplace.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
