Our client is a hospital that is hiring a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its full-service small animal hospital caring for Cats and Dogs. This opportunity is ideal for veterinarians seeking a well-supported general practice environment with no after-hours responsibilities, allowing for an excellent work-life balance while delivering high-quality veterinary care. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and those seeking to further develop their skills within a collaborative and established team.
Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will be responsible for the full scope of GP responsibilities, managing a varied caseload that includes preventative care, wellness examinations, diagnostics, treatment planning, and client education. You will have the opportunity to practice medicine across a broad range of general practice cases while working closely with an experienced support team. With no after-hours services, the role offers a predictable schedule focused on delivering exceptional patient care during regular hospital hours. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and those looking to continue developing their clinical skills within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Practice Details
The hospital operates Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and is closed Saturday through Monday, providing a unique schedule that supports a strong work-life balance. As a full-service small animal hospital, the practice offers the full scope of GP services alongside Urgent Care and orthopedic services. The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic technology including, but not limited to, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, and an in-house laboratory, allowing clinicians to work up and manage cases efficiently on-site. Facilities include hands-free radiology, an intensive care unit, an in-office surgical suite, and an in-house pharmacy, providing comprehensive support for both routine and more advanced cases. In addition to its medical services, the practice also offers climate-controlled pet boarding, further enhancing the level of care available to patients and clients.
Team
The veterinary team consists of one long-term full-time doctor and one long-term part-time doctor, supported by a tenured support staff that includes a Registered Veterinary Technician. The hospital is further supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. Together, the team works cohesively to provide the highest level of client and patient care. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
