Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This role is perfect for a veterinarian looking to work in a collaborative, well-established small animal practice providing care for dogs and cats.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital offers flexible scheduling, welcoming both full-time and part-time candidates. Their hours of operation are Monday and Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Wednesday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The hospital is closed on Sundays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position involves all responsibilities typically associated with a general practice veterinarian, including wellness and preventive care, internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, and the management of day-time emergencies. The role is open to experienced veterinarians only and offers the opportunity to practice high-quality medicine with clinical autonomy, supported by a team that prioritizes patient care and client communication.

Practice Details
The hospital is both AAHA-accredited and Fear Free Certified, maintaining these high standards for over 20 years. Services provided include wellness care, dentistry, soft-tissue and orthopedic surgery, and daytime emergency care. The facility is equipped with three exam rooms, a dental suite with dental x-rays, a fully equipped surgical suite, digital x-rays, and ultrasound technology, all in a modern and progressive setting.

Team
The team includes two experienced DVMs supported by an experienced and tenured support staff with a 2:1 technician-to-doctor ratio. The environment is collaborative and focused on high-quality patient care, with the support of a dedicated hospital manager and leadership team.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
