Job Description

Introduction
A well-established veterinary hospital in Orem, Utah is seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join its close-knit team. With no weekend or overnight shifts, this opportunity offers an excellent work-life balance while allowing you to practice high-quality medicine in a supportive, progressive environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday 8:00 am–5:00 pm, Tuesday 8:00 am–4:00 pm, Wednesday 8:00 am–5:00 pm, Thursday 8:00 am–4:30 pm, and Friday 8:00 am–3:00 pm. Flexible full-time scheduling options are available, averaging fewer than 40 hours per week.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will deliver compassionate, high-quality care across general practice, urgent care, dentistry, and surgery. Responsibilities include conducting exams, interpreting diagnostics, creating treatment plans, and performing both routine and advanced procedures. Doctors are encouraged to pursue areas of personal interest, with access to advanced tools including digital radiography, ultrasound, platelet-rich plasma therapy, ozone therapy, and CT.

Practice Details
The hospital features a modern facility designed to support efficient, thorough care. With digital and dental radiography, ultrasound, CT, platelet-rich plasma therapy, and an in-house laboratory, the team can diagnose and treat a wide variety of cases. Appointments range from 30 to 60 minutes depending on case complexity, allowing for personalized, attentive patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
