Our client is a full-service animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their well-established practice. The hospital has been serving the community for over 40 years and provides care for dogs and cats. With a refreshed and redecorated facility and a steadily growing client base, this is an excellent opportunity to join a trusted practice dedicated to high-quality, compassionate care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Wednesday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Thursday and Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and is closed on weekends. This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling options available.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical care, including wellness, dentistry, surgery, and diagnostics, while maintaining strong client communication. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with structured mentorship opportunities available to support professional development.

Practice Details
The hospital is a modern facility featuring four exam rooms and is equipped with x-ray, ultrasound, and laboratory services. Services provided include wellness care, dental care, routine soft-tissue surgery, diagnostics, emergency care, and euthanasia. The practice emphasizes comfort-focused, compassionate medicine for pets and their owners in a positive and supportive environment.

Team
The hospital is home to a collaborative and experienced team with over 90 years of combined expertise, including a Medical Director with more than 25 years of clinical experience. The support staff are highly trained and empowered to assist in surgery, patient care, and client education. The culture is positive, lighthearted, and team-oriented, with a strong focus on mentorship and collaboration.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
