Introduction
Our client is a small animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates looking to work in a collaborative practice with a varied companion animal caseload.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian is responsible for delivering high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care to companion animals while building strong relationships with clients through clear communication and education. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, interpreting diagnostic tests, performing routine soft tissue surgeries and dentistry where applicable, managing medical records accurately, and collaborating with the wider veterinary team to ensure the highest standard of patient care. The Associate Veterinarian will also promote preventative healthcare, maintain compliance with hospital protocols, and contribute to a positive, supportive, and team-oriented working environment. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 5:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
This modern practice is equipped with diagnostic and surgical technology to support high-quality companion animal medicine. Veterinarians have access to a comprehensive in-house laboratory for rapid blood work and diagnostic testing, digital radiography (X-ray), dentistry equipment, and modern surgical facilities.
The purpose-designed facility features dedicated examination rooms, a fully equipped treatment area, surgical facilities, an in-house laboratory, diagnostic imaging capabilities, comfortable patient care spaces, and electronic medical records, allowing veterinarians to manage a broad range of wellness, medical, and surgical cases in an efficient clinical setting.
The practice is AAHA accredited.
A comprehensive range of services is provided for dogs and cats, offering a varied companion animal caseload. Services include wellness examinations, vaccinations, parasite prevention and control, preventative healthcare, dentistry, dental care, spays and neuters, in-house diagnostics, digital radiography, puppy and kitten packages, nutritional counselling, routine soft tissue surgery, and the ongoing management of acute and chronic medical conditions.
The practice provides comprehensive veterinary care with a strong emphasis on preventative medicine, client education, and personalized patient care. Veterinarians benefit from a broad range of medical and surgical cases, along with convenient access to referral hospitals for specialty or emergency care when required.

Team
The hospital is home to three DVMs supported by nine support staff members, including three Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs). The team works collaboratively to provide high-quality patient care while fostering a supportive and positive working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
