Our client is a companion animal hospital seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. Caring for dogs and cats, this opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian looking to provide high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care within a well-equipped, full-service practice.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian is responsible for delivering high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care to companion animals while building strong relationships with clients through clear communication and education. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, interpreting diagnostic tests, performing routine soft tissue surgeries and dentistry where applicable, managing medical records accurately, and collaborating with the wider veterinary team to ensure the highest standard of patient care. The Associate Veterinarian will also promote preventative healthcare, maintain compliance with hospital protocols, and contribute to a positive, supportive, and team-oriented working environment. This opportunity is open to experienced veterinarians only. The schedule consists of four 10-hour days per week, including one weekend day.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday to Saturday from 7:00am to 6:00pm and Sunday from 7:30am to 6:00pm.
This modern practice is equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical technology to support high-quality companion animal medicine. Equipment includes hands-free radiology, a therapeutic laser, a comprehensive in-house laboratory, digital radiography (X-ray), ultrasound, advanced anesthesia monitoring equipment, and modern surgical facilities. In-house cPL testing, coagulation testing, chemistry analyzers, and CBC capabilities further support rapid diagnosis and treatment. These resources enable veterinarians to efficiently manage a wide variety of medical conditions while supporting preventative care, dentistry, and routine soft tissue surgery.
The purpose-designed facility features dedicated examination rooms, a fully equipped treatment area, surgical suites, diagnostic imaging capabilities, an in-house laboratory, an on-site pharmacy, comfortable patient care spaces, and canine and feline overnight boarding, daycare, and grooming facilities, allowing veterinarians to manage a broad range of wellness, medical, and surgical cases in an efficient clinical setting.
The practice is AAHA accredited and encourages Fear Free accreditation or Fear Free Certified associates whenever possible.
A comprehensive range of services is provided for dogs, cats, and pocket pets, offering a varied companion animal caseload. Services include wellness examinations, vaccinations, parasite prevention and control, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, in-house diagnostics, digital radiography, ultrasound, internal medicine, cardiology, oncology, orthopedic surgery, behavioral counselling, nutritional counselling, diabetes management, microchipping, boarding, grooming, end-of-life care, and the ongoing management of acute and chronic medical conditions. An on-site pharmacy supports convenient continuation of care for clients.
As a full-service veterinary hospital, the practice provides comprehensive primary care alongside advanced medical and surgical services, with a strong emphasis on client education and personalized treatment plans to support pets throughout every stage of life.

Team
The practice is supported by five credentialed veterinary technicians, including one Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT).

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
