Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing full-service veterinary care and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This established practice delivers comprehensive care with a strong focus on advanced medicine, collaboration, and building lasting client relationships.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 7:00am to 3:00pm, and is closed on Sunday. This is a part-time position, with Saturday coverage included as part of the rota.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will diagnose and treat patients, develop treatment plans, and deliver high-quality care across wellness, diagnostics, and surgical cases. Responsibilities include building strong client relationships, educating pet owners on preventative care and treatment options, and collaborating closely with the veterinary and support team. The role also involves working within a supportive environment that encourages clinical growth and professional development. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
This is a full-service veterinary hospital established in 2012, offering a wide range of services including wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, surgical procedures, and pet grooming. The hospital features a fully digitized, state-of-the-art facility designed to support efficient workflows and rapid lab results. Additional support is provided through access to specialists including a veterinary surgical specialist, cardiologist, and radiologists, allowing for collaboration on complex cases. The practice emphasizes high-quality medicine, client education, and a supportive, growth-focused culture.

Team
The team consists of 4 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
