Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary practice in Chatham, hiring a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established and compassionate clinical team. The hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care for canine and feline patients and is seeking a dedicated clinician who values high standards of medicine, strong client relationships, and a collaborative team environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 1:00pm, with the practice closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position. After-hours or on-call requirements are to be discussed with the practice.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical and surgical care across all life stages. Clinical responsibilities include examining, diagnosing, and treating patients, performing surgeries, providing dentistry services, administering preventive and wellness care, and developing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. The role also includes educating pet owners, maintaining accurate medical records, and working collaboratively with the wider team to uphold gold-standard veterinary medicine. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship and support available for those early in their careers.

Team

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
