Job Description

Introduction
Our client is an AAHA-accredited small animal veterinary hospital in Old Bridge, New Jersey, providing comprehensive care for cats and dogs. They are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join the practice, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available. The hospital is in a period of growth following a recent facility remodel and provides a supportive environment centered on high-quality medicine, authentic communication, and compassionate patient care. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates will be considered.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive veterinary care across wellness, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, microchipping, and end-of-life care. The hospital has a growing surgical caseload, offering the opportunity to contribute as the team expands and develops a more formal surgery schedule. Veterinarians are encouraged to contribute their ideas while delivering high-quality care and building strong relationships with pets and their owners. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates will be considered for the position.

Practice Details
The AAHA-accredited hospital is a busy, recently remodeled and fully equipped facility serving Old Bridge and surrounding communities across central New Jersey. Advanced equipment includes a surgical laser, cautery unit, endoscope, ultrasound, and a robust in-house laboratory, with an online pharmacy also available. The hospital is open Monday and Tuesday from 9:00 AM–8:00 PM, Wednesday through Friday from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, and Saturday from 9:00 AM–2:00 PM on alternating Saturdays.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
