Our client is a hospital providing care for small animal patients and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Old Bridge, New Jersey. This opportunity is available on either a full-time or part-time basis and is ideal for an experienced veterinarian seeking a collaborative practice with advanced diagnostic and surgical capabilities. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventative care for small animal patients. Responsibilities include examining animals to assess their health and diagnose medical conditions, treating injuries, performing surgical procedures, administering vaccinations, operating diagnostic equipment, prescribing medications, and educating clients on treatment options and preventative healthcare. The role also involves working closely with fellow veterinarians and support staff to ensure the highest standard of patient care. Clinical exposure includes wellness care, dentistry, surgery, diagnostics, urgent care, nutrition, pharmacy services, and end-of-life care. This position is intended for experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
The hospital is a full-service small animal practice providing diagnostic, clinical, and surgical care. Services offered include wellness care, dental care, surgical services, diagnostics, urgent care, end-of-life care, laboratory services, microchipping, nutrition counseling, and pharmacy services. Routine wellness examinations form a key part of the practice’s approach to preventative medicine, with a strong emphasis on early disease detection and long-term patient health. The hospital is equipped with advanced medical and diagnostic technology, including X-ray capabilities, allowing veterinarians to provide comprehensive care across a broad range of cases. The practice fosters a supportive and positive culture focused on teamwork, high-quality medicine, and exceptional client service. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and closed on Sundays.

Team
The hospital is staffed by 6 DVMs and a great tenured support team. The environment is collaborative and team-oriented, with veterinarians and support staff working closely together to provide exceptional patient care while maintaining a positive and supportive workplace culture.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
