Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital proudly serving O’Fallon and the surrounding communities for over 20 years and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital provides care for small animals, exotics, and wildlife, offering an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian looking to work with a diverse caseload.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position offers the opportunity to perform the full scope of general practice responsibilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive veterinary care, including preventative medicine, diagnostics, treatment planning, and client communication. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Doctor schedules typically consist of 3–4 days per week, with shifts from 8:00am to 6:00pm.

Practice Details
This is a well-equipped, AAHA-accredited, Fear-Free Certified, and Cat-Friendly hospital offering a full scope of GP services. These services include wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry, alongside advanced diagnostics and rehabilitation services. The hospital is equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, and an in-house laboratory. Dedicated surgical and dental suites support a broad range of procedures, while a fully equipped rehabilitation space includes an underwater treadmill, therapeutic ultrasound, and laser therapy. Additional services offered include chiropractic care, acupuncture, laser and shockwave therapy, pain management, physical rehabilitation, underwater treadmill therapy, and therapeutic ultrasound. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 2:00pm, and closed on Sundays.

Team
The veterinary team consists of 4 DVMs supported by a strong 3:1 staff-to-doctor ratio. You will work alongside an experienced, long-tenured team, including 7 highly utilized RVTs, providing the support needed to deliver exceptional patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
