Introduction
Our client is a small animal veterinary hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. The practice is a well-established hospital in Ocala, Florida known for delivering high-quality veterinary medicine while maintaining a welcoming and supportive environment for clients, patients, and staff.

Working Hours / Rota
This position offers either full-time or part-time opportunities. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 1:00pm.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a varied caseload including preventative care, dentistry, surgery, diagnostics, and internal medicine. The role involves collaborating with the veterinary team to provide high-quality patient care while building strong relationships with clients. The position offers opportunities for professional growth and mentorship within a supportive clinical environment. This role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital practices progressive small animal medicine and operates from a modern, purpose-built facility built in 2011. The practice emphasizes compassionate care and strong client relationships while providing a broad range of veterinary services. Equipment and facilities include a surgery suite and diagnostic imaging capabilities such as radiology and ultrasound. Services offered include acupuncture, canine cancer vaccine, dental care, dermatology, echocardiography and EKG, emergency and urgent care, house calls, orthopedic procedures, patella luxation repair, perineal urethrostomy, preventative care, puppy and kitten care, regenerative therapy, stem cell therapy, and general surgery. The practice prioritizes mentorship, professional development, and a collaborative team culture focused on high standards of care.

Team
The hospital team consists of 3 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative and supportive working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
