Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing high-quality veterinary care and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their collaborative, multi-doctor team. This dynamic practice delivers care to small animals, offering a varied caseload in a supportive environment focused on professional growth and excellent patient care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. The role offers flexibility for either full-time or part-time schedules, with weekend coverage required on Saturdays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a varied caseload including both medical and surgical cases, while delivering high-quality, relationship-based care to patients and clients. Responsibilities include collaborating with the clinical team and leadership, building relationships within the local community, and supporting the development of support staff. The role involves handling consultations and surgical procedures during open hours while contributing to a positive, team-oriented culture. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
This is a well-established, high-volume small animal practice known for its strong reputation and loyal client base. The hospital is equipped with digital x-ray, digital dental radiographs, a therapy laser, and Cornerstone platform to support high standards of care. Services offered include general medical care, diagnostics and laboratory services, emergency pet services, end-of-life care, pain management, surgery and anesthesia, wound care, preventative care, behavioral medicine, dental care, microchipping, nutritional counseling, parasite prevention and control, spay and neuter, vaccinations, wellness exams, wellness testing, and specialized veterinary care. The practice fosters a collaborative environment where veterinarians work together and leverage each other’s strengths to deliver the best possible outcomes.

Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs and a great tenured support team, creating a close-knit and collaborative working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
