Introduction
Our client is a general practice hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital provides care for dogs and cats and is open to both full-time and part-time applicants.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide medical, surgical, and dental care, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, injuries, and health conditions. Responsibilities include delivering preventative care, educating clients, maintaining accurate medical records, and collaborating closely with the veterinary team and support staff. The role also involves contributing to a positive and efficient hospital environment while working alongside leadership to support team development and accountability. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays. It is a full-service veterinary hospital offering a broad range of services including vaccinations and prevention, routine exams, internal medicine, dental care, diagnostics and laboratory services, cold laser therapy, geriatrics, and a variety of surgical procedures such as soft tissue, orthopedic, ocular, spay and neuter, and dental surgery. The practice also offers same-day appointments subject to availability. The hospital emphasizes high-quality, comprehensive care in a warm and safe environment, with a strong focus on patient well-being and client service.

Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs supported by a tenured support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment dedicated to high standards of patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
