Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a privately owned, full-service veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical care for dogs and cats. The hospital is currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its established team, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available. This position offers the flexibility to consider different working arrangements depending on the successful veterinarian’s availability.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will join a hospital offering a broad range of veterinary services, covering routine preventive healthcare as well as more advanced medical, diagnostic and surgical care. The position provides flexibility around both scheduling and duties, allowing the role to be shaped around the veterinarian’s experience and clinical capabilities.
Applications are welcomed from both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. New graduates will have access to mentorship as they develop their confidence, experience and clinical skills within the role.

Practice Details
The hospital is open from 8:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday and from 8:00am to 2:00pm on Saturdays. The practice is closed on Sundays.
The hospital has three examination rooms and is equipped with ultrasound, digital X-ray and digital dental X-ray. It also has IDEXX in-house laboratory equipment, allowing the team to perform a range of diagnostic testing within the hospital. Cornerstone is used for the hospital’s electronic medical records.
The practice is AAHA-accredited and recognized as a Cat Friendly Practice. It operates as a full-service hospital and provides care across a wide variety of clinical areas. Its services include wellness and preventive care, internal medicine, surgery, laser surgery, dentistry and digital dental radiology.
The hospital also provides comprehensive diagnostic services, including laboratory testing, ultrasound, endoscopy and digital radiology. Emergency care and boarding services are available in addition to the hospital’s medical and surgical services.

Team
The hospital is home to four veterinarians who collectively bring more than 100 years of experience to the practice. The doctors are supported by a strong support-staff ratio, with approximately 3.5 to 4.5 support team members available per doctor.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
