Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for a full-time Associate Veterinarian within a small animal practice that also offers exotic care. This well-established and highly regarded hospital is seeking a veterinarian to join a collaborative team environment focused on delivering compassionate, high-quality medicine and building lasting relationships with clients and patients.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position with a structured schedule that supports a balanced and consistent workflow.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care including wellness exams, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, and preventative care, alongside managing more complex medical and surgical cases. Responsibilities include performing soft tissue and orthopedic procedures, delivering nutritional guidance, and supporting care for exotic and pocket pets. The role involves clear client communication, case management, and collaboration with a skilled team to ensure the highest standards of patient care. This position is well suited to a veterinarian who values teamwork, high-quality medicine, and continued professional development.

Practice Details
The hospital is a full-service facility offering a wide range of services including wellness care, dentistry, surgery, diagnostics, vaccinations, spay and neuter procedures, microchipping, parasite prevention, nutrition, and senior wellness care, as well as services for exotic and pocket pets. The facility is equipped with advanced diagnostic tools including a comprehensive in-house laboratory capable of bloodwork, urinalysis, and specialized testing, as well as digital radiography and ultrasound supported by advanced imaging technology. Surgical services include routine and complex procedures such as mass removals, foreign body removals, laceration repairs, and reconstructive procedures, supported by advanced monitoring equipment and tailored anesthetic protocols. The practice emphasizes a high standard of care through access to modern equipment, collaborative case management, and a strong focus on continuous learning and development.

Team
The practice consists of 5 DVMs supported by a dedicated and collaborative support team. The environment fosters teamwork, mentorship, and professional growth, allowing veterinarians to thrive within a supportive and communicative culture focused on delivering exceptional patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
