Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking to hire an associate veterinarian. This hospital sees small animals and exotics and is looking for an experienced associate veterinarian to join their team.
Working Hours / Rota
The ideal schedule for this full-time position would be four weekdays with rotating Saturdays, and specific doctor hours remain open to discussion. The hospital’s opening hours are Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 6 pm, Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, and Saturday from 9 am to noon.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The associate veterinarian will provide full general practice responsibilities within the hospital. This role is open to experienced candidates.
Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and offers services including acupuncture and Chinese medicine, dental care, emergency, pain management, surgical services, internal medicine, wellness care, exotic animal care, and house calls.
Team
The team consists of two DVMs and tenured support staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
