Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a practice hiring an Associate Veterinarian to join a welcoming, community-focused clinic with a strong reputation in both small animal and exotic medicine. The clinic sees dogs and cats as well as exotics and is seeking a veterinarian who is passionate about delivering high-quality care while building meaningful relationships with clients and patients.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves a variety of clinical responsibilities including wellness and vaccinations, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, allergies and dermatology, behavioral counseling, acupuncture and Chinese medicine, and treating exotic animals. The position offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time options available and is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
Our client has been established for over 30 years and is known for delivering high-quality veterinary care with a personalized approach. The practice offers a diverse caseload across small animals and exotics, supported by modern diagnostics and a collaborative environment. Services include wellness and vaccinations, allergies and dermatology, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, behavioral counseling, acupuncture and Chinese medicine, and exotic animal care. The culture is rooted in strong client relationships, compassionate care, and teamwork. Hospital opening hours are Monday to Thursday 9:00 am–7:00 pm, Friday 9:00 am–5:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am–12:00 pm, and Sunday closed.
Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs supported by a great tenured support staff. The environment is collaborative and supportive, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and shared patient care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
