Our client is a well-established small animal hospital seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join their compassionate and dedicated team in Norristown, PA. With over 50 years of trusted service, this AAHA-accredited practice is known for delivering high-quality, personalized veterinary care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time or part-time position with flexible scheduling options. The hospital is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with Sundays closed. The role involves daytime hours with no after-hours requirements, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care to companion animals. Responsibilities include conducting wellness and preventive exams, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, performing soft-tissue surgeries, and delivering client education and support. The position is best suited for an experienced veterinarian who values collaboration, quality care, and building long-term client relationships in a community-focused setting.

It features digital radiography, dental radiography, an in-house laboratory, a dedicated surgical suite, and a fully stocked pharmacy. The team practices Fear Free–focused handling techniques and offers a wide range of services, including routine exams, internal medicine, dental care, cold laser therapy, senior pet care, emergency services during clinic hours, and care for small mammals such as rabbits and guinea pigs. Team

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
