Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a practice seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their growing general practice team. This full-time role involves working with dogs and cats in a well-equipped clinic that offers a varied caseload. The hospital provides a supportive and collaborative environment with a strong, experienced team and modern exam rooms.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role includes a broad range of general practice responsibilities with a case mix of wellness, sick visits, surgery, and dentistry. Responsibilities include routine exams, diagnostics, surgical procedures, and dental care. The position is open to experienced veterinarians, ideally suited to someone confident in delivering high-quality medicine and working collaboratively within a team.
Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Tuesday from 7:00am to 7:00pm, Wednesday from 7:00am to 5:00pm, Thursday from 7:00am to 7:00pm, and Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, and is closed on weekends. The clinic is equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratories, digital dental X-rays, and Invue technology. Services include wellness care and exams, vaccinations, diagnostics and imaging, spay and neuter procedures, parasite prevention, deworming, microchipping, end-of-life care, nutrition and diet counseling, and pain management. The practice offers a balanced caseload and a collaborative culture supported by strong leadership and experienced staff, with access to a traveling orthopedic surgeon.
Team
The team consists of 3 DVMs supported by a tenured support staff, creating a collaborative and experienced working environment with a strong support structure.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
