Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian position. The practice is a growing small animal hospital providing comprehensive veterinary care for dogs, cats, and a wide range of exotic species, and is seeking an experienced veterinarian to join a friendly, collaborative team focused on high-quality medicine and client education.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The role is available on a full-time or part-time basis. After-hours, emergency, or on-call requirements are specified beyond regular business hours

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role is open to experienced veterinarians only. Clinical responsibilities include providing high-quality general medicine and surgery, delivering wellness and preventive care, managing sick-patient appointments, and performing dental and surgical procedures. The Associate Veterinarian will build strong client relationships through clear communication and education, collaborate closely with a skilled support team, and may pursue special interests or niches within veterinary medicine as desired.

The hospital is a modern, well-equipped small animal practice committed to delivering compassionate, honest, and competent veterinary care. Equipment and technology include digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, and an in-house laboratory, supporting advanced diagnostics and treatment. Services offered include wellness care, internal medicine with imaging, surgery, pharmacy services, exotics care, preventive medicine, dentistry, acupuncture, urgent and critical care support, and comprehensive diagnostic testing. The practice culture emphasizes teamwork, continued learning, patient-centered care, and treating every animal with respect and compassion.

The hospital is supported by 2 DVMs and a great support team, fostering a collaborative, positive, and well-supported working environment focused on teamwork and excellent patient outcomes.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
