Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a growing small animal practice providing veterinary care for dogs, cats, and exotics. They are seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join their collaborative team. The practice is open to both full-time and part-time applicants and provides a modern, well-equipped environment focused on delivering high-quality medicine.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality general medicine and surgery while building strong client relationships through clear communication. The role involves working closely with the wider veterinary team while providing the opportunity to pursue individual clinical interests or specialties. This position is specifically for an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
The practice is equipped with digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, and a fully equipped in-house laboratory with analyzers supporting a broad range of diagnostic testing. Clinical services include wellness and preventative care, puppy and kitten care, adult and senior pet care, diagnostic imaging, laboratory services, surgery, and acupuncture. The practice also collaborates with a board-certified veterinary radiologist and consults with experts in Internal Medicine, Dermatology, Pathology, and Oncology, alongside using a nationally recognized reference laboratory. Opening hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, with the practice closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Team
The practice currently has one DVM and a great tenured support team. The team is experienced and well-trained, with strong leadership focused on maintaining a positive, collaborative culture where colleagues work closely together and enjoy their working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
