Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing high-quality small animal medicine, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their collaborative team delivering advanced, compassionate care within a well-established and trusted community practice.
Working Hours / Rota
This role offers flexibility for full-time or part-time candidates. The hospital operates Monday to Wednesday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Thursday and Friday from 7:30 AM to 10:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and is closed on Sunday.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive small animal care, including wellness, diagnostics, surgery, and urgent care. Responsibilities include managing cases from initial consultation through treatment, performing procedures, and delivering high-quality, evidence-based medicine. You will build strong client relationships, educate pet owners, and collaborate closely with a supportive team to ensure excellent patient outcomes. This role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

This is an AAHA accredited small animal hospital with a strong reputation for clinical excellence and compassionate care. The practice is also Fear Free Certified, emphasizing patient comfort and low-stress handling. The hospital focuses exclusively on small animal medicine and provides a wide range of services including wellness exams, dental care, spay and neuter, surgery, ultrasound, vaccinations, microchipping, medical assessments, kitten and puppy care, laser therapy, radiology, senior wellness, end-of-life care, and urgent care. The environment is collaborative and growth-focused, with access to internal specialty consultations and resources to support advanced case management and professional development.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
