Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a state-of-the-art hospital seeking a full-time associate veterinarian to join their team. This multi-species practice provides care for cats, dogs, companion mammals, avian, and exotic pets. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with exceptional mentorship available for those starting their careers.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm, Tuesday from 8:30am to 7:30pm, and is closed on Wednesdays and weekends, though specific doctor hours are open to discussion.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position covers the full scope of general practice responsibilities. The veterinarian will deliver high-quality medical care across wellness, surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, and more, ensuring the best outcomes for a diverse patient base.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with modern technology and offers advanced services, including wellness care, rigid endoscopy, surgical services, senior care, cold laser therapy, diagnostics, dentistry, radiology, nutritional care, ultrasound, an in-house pharmacy, and emergency care during office hours. The facility is Fear Free certified and recognized as a Cat Friendly Practice by the American Association of Feline Practitioners, reflecting its commitment to patient comfort and low-stress handling.

Team
The team consists of one DVM supported by a great support staff, fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes excellent patient care and professional development.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
