Job Description

Introduction
Our client is an AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital providing comprehensive care for cats and dogs. They are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join the practice, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available. The hospital combines advanced facilities and technology with compassionate medicine and a strong focus on building close relationships with clients and their pets. The practice is open to both full-time and part-time applicants.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide preventive and primary care while managing a varied caseload supported by advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities. Clinical opportunities include advanced dental care, dermatology, soft tissue surgery, diabetes management, diagnostic imaging, abdominal and thoracic ultrasonography, abdominocentesis, cystocentesis, thoracocentesis, ultrasound-guided biopsies and fine needle aspirations. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates will be considered, with students and new graduates offered dedicated mentorship.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA accredited and features a spacious facility with twelve exam rooms, a wellness room, large treatment room, surgical suites, a separate ultrasound room, surgical recovery area, kennel and quarantine areas, and a quiet cat ward. Equipment and capabilities include hands-free radiology, digital radiography, digital dental X-ray, tonometry, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and advanced diagnostic imaging. The practice is Fear Free accredited or utilizes Fear Free Certified associates when possible. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with the hospital closed Saturday and Sunday.

Team
The hospital has one DVM and a great tenured support team. Management and support team members work closely with the veterinarian, with a culture centered on teamwork, teaching, continuous learning, compassionate client service, and quality medicine. The practice also provides dedicated mentorship to students and new graduates.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
