Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a thriving multi-doctor veterinary practice located in the upper west side of Manhattan, NYC. They are hiring an Associate Veterinarian to join their growing team in delivering high-quality veterinary care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. This is a full-time position.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role includes providing care in general medicine and surgery, with opportunities to perform procedures such as spays, neuters, dermal mass removals, and wound repairs. Dental procedures are performed Monday through Friday in the dedicated dental suite. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The practice is well-equipped with a dental suite featuring two dental tables, in-house diagnostics, and access to specialty care through a boarded surgeon and orthopedic team. Services offered include wellness care, vaccinations, dental care, surgery, parasite prevention, microchipping, senior pet care, nutritional counseling, and urgent care. The hospital fosters a compassionate, team-oriented culture that values communication and collaboration.

Team
The team consists of 10 DVMs supported by an experienced staff, working together in a collaborative environment that emphasizes high-quality care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
