Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their well-established general practice team. This full-time role involves working with dogs and cats in a modern clinic environment that delivers gold standard veterinary medicine. The hospital has a strong reputation for high-quality care and offers a varied caseload across wellness, sick visits, and surgery.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role includes a broad range of general practice responsibilities, with a balanced caseload of wellness, sick, and surgical cases. Responsibilities include routine exams, diagnostics, surgery, dental procedures, and urgent care as part of a full-service offering. The position is suited to an experienced veterinarian who is confident practicing high-quality medicine and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 7:00pm and is closed on weekends. It is equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratories, and a dedicated dental suite, supporting a wide range of diagnostic and treatment capabilities. The practice provides comprehensive services including wellness care, urgent and sick visits, surgical procedures, dental care, and diagnostic services. The clinic promotes a collaborative culture with a strong focus on high standards of care and professional growth, supported by modern facilities and technology.
Team
The team consists of 5 DVMs supported by a well-established and tenured support staff, including skilled technicians and client service representatives. The environment is collaborative and supportive, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and delivering excellent patient care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
