Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a full-service and community-centered companion animal hospital, dedicated to excellent patient care and strong client relationships. They are hiring an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital sees Cats, Dogs and select Exotics within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of GP responsibilities, working across a varied companion animal caseload. Specific hours are to be discussed, with participation in a shared after-hours rotation and occasional on-call duties required. There are no weekend shifts. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship offered to support professional development.
Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:45 am to 5:00 pm and offers a balanced workload within a collaborative workplace culture in a clean, well-equipped facility. The practice is equipped with modern equipment, including but not limited to an in-house laboratory, digital X-ray, ultrasound, and digital dental X-ray. The hospital offers orthopedics alongside a full scope of GP services, supporting a diverse and engaging caseload.
Team
The practice is supported by a team of 5 DVMs alongside a well-tenured support staff team. The environment is collaborative and supportive, fostering strong teamwork and mentorship opportunities.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
