Introduction
Our client is a small animal general practice hiring an Associate Veterinarian to join a dedicated, multi-doctor team focused on delivering high-quality, compassionate care. The hospital values collaboration, medical autonomy, and long-term client relationships while maintaining a supportive environment that promotes work–life balance.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 1:00pm. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available. The schedule includes two longer weekday shifts and Saturdays, allowing for additional days off.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a balanced general practice caseload that includes wellness and preventive care, sick visits, diagnostics, dentistry, and surgical cases. Clinical responsibilities include performing thorough physical examinations, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, completing dental and surgical procedures, utilizing in-house diagnostics and imaging, and providing clear, compassionate communication to clients. This role is suited to an experienced veterinarian who values teamwork, medical autonomy, and continuous professional growth.

Practice Details
This is a collaborative small animal general practice with a strong emphasis on gold-standard medicine and supportive leadership. The hospital is equipped with digital radiography, in-house laboratory diagnostics, and fully equipped dental and surgical suites. Services offered include wellness exams, vaccinations, illness and injury care, diagnostics and imaging, parasite prevention, deworming, dental care, end-of-life and euthanasia services, travel health certificates, pharmacy services, and behavioral counseling. The practice culture is positive, team-oriented, and committed to sustainable, high-quality patient care.

Team
The hospital is currently supported by one DVM and a great support team, maintaining an approximate 1 to 1.5 support staff to doctor ratio. The environment is collaborative and well-supported, with skilled technicians, dedicated client service representatives, and engaged leadership working together to support both patient care and clinician success.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
