Our client is a hospital providing comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats and is seeking a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a varied general practice caseload, providing preventative care, client education, diagnostics, and treatment for both acute and chronic medical conditions. The role includes performing routine and advanced surgical procedures, including spays, neuters, mass removals, foreign body surgeries, and dental extractions, while maintaining a high standard of patient care. The successful candidate will work closely with a collaborative veterinary team and skilled support staff to deliver outstanding medical and surgical services. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
This full-service animal hospital provides comprehensive general practice services for dogs and cats throughout New Haven and the surrounding communities. The hospital is committed to providing quality care at every stage of a pet’s life, from routine preventative care through to the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of medical conditions. Services include canine and feline wellness care, vaccinations, sick appointments, in-house and reference laboratory diagnostics, health certificates for domestic and international travel, approved laboratory titers, routine surgical procedures and sterilisation, dental cleanings and procedures, allergy testing and management, microchipping, disease prevention, fluorescent light therapy, weight and diet management, and puppy and kitten wellness and education. The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. The recently renovated facility has been thoughtfully designed to support high-quality patient care while fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
