Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary practice in New Castle, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated and compassionate team. Established over 45 years ago, the hospital has built a reputation for treating pets like family and providing high-quality, collaborative care with a focus on client education and pet wellness. The hospital primarily sees dogs and cats.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm. The hospital is closed on Sundays. Specific doctor hours are open to discussion.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The veterinarian will provide full GP responsibilities including wellness and preventative care, surgery, anesthesia, dentistry, and diagnostics. The role emphasizes building strong client relationships through education and delivering excellent patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Practice Details
The hospital is a modern facility equipped with advanced technology to support high-quality veterinary care. Services offered include preventative care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostic imaging, laboratory testing, and rehabilitation. The hospital culture is professional, team-oriented, and centered around collaboration and client communication.

Team
The veterinarian will join a team of seven DVMs supported by a highly trained support staff in a collaborative and team-focused environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
