Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking a full- or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital treats a diverse caseload including traditional companion animals such as cats and dogs, alongside birds, reptiles, pocket pets, small farm animals, and other larger species.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide a full scope of general practice care, including wellness, preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry. Doctor hours are open to discussion, and the opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
The hospital is well equipped and offers a full scope of general practice services alongside reproductive services. Opening hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with the hospital closed daily from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM for lunch. The hospital is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
Team
The hospital has two DVMs alongside a great team of support staff. The team is described as fun, caring, and trustworthy, while the doctors uphold an excellent standard of care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
