Introduction
Our client is a small animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their full-service, state-of-the-art practice. The hospital provides comprehensive care for a wide range of species including dogs, cats, and exotics such as birds, reptiles, and small mammals. This opportunity is available on either a full-time or part-time basis within a collaborative and supportive environment that prioritizes both patient care and team well-being.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will deliver high-quality medical care across a diverse caseload, including preventive care, diagnostics, dentistry, and surgical procedures. Responsibilities include performing examinations, developing treatment plans, maintaining accurate medical records, and providing clear and effective client communication. The role also involves collaboration with the wider team, supporting staff development, and contributing to a positive hospital environment. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship and hands-on training available to support clinical growth.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 8:30am to 1:00pm, and is closed on Sundays. The facility is a 9,500 square foot, state-of-the-art hospital equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, EKG, laparoscopic tools, laser technology, and an in-house laboratory and pharmacy. Services offered include preventive care such as physical exams, vaccinations, heartworm and parasite screening, senior wellness screening, dental exams, professional cleanings, dental X-rays and extractions, spay and neuter procedures, cold laser therapy, and advanced diagnostics. The hospital also provides care for exotic species, alongside general medical, surgical, and diagnostic services. As an AAHA-accredited and Fear Free practice, the hospital maintains high standards of care and emphasizes a collaborative culture, continuous learning, and work-life balance. Additional support is provided through a wider network, offering access to resources while maintaining clinical autonomy.

Team
The team consists of 4 DVMs supported by a skilled and collaborative support staff, creating a positive, team-oriented environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care and supporting professional development.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
